Trophy Bull Tahr Hunt
Hunt for one of New Zealand’s most rewarding and prestigious big game trophies, The Majestic Bull Tahr.
Tahr are only found throughout the high country of the Southern Alps in the South Island of NZ – We are now working with another quality NZ outfitter and have a couple of private properties located in the South Canterbury high country
Each property has good vehicle or ATV access so we can cater for all fitness levels, Plus If you only wish to hunt for your Tahr free range then this is also an option.
This hunt is available from late May – August each year,
Bookings are essential.
NZ $4750.00 plus 1 x Bull Tahr Trophy fee $3000 = NZ $7750.00
Please note – Two people can attend this hunt, please ensure that when booking your flights to Christchurch airport that you arrive on an early flight on day one to allow for an evening hunt of day one and your departer flight is for an afternoon of day 4.
Please advise us – if you or your hunting buddy may like to hunt for a second Bull Tahr also, this will add an extra day and trophy fee.
Trip includes – A professional hunting guide, pick up and return from Christchurch airport traveling by 4WD to the south Canterbury property. 3 nights accommodation in the tidy station cottage, All food for the duration of the hunt , Quality firearms and other gear can be supplied if required.
We also field prep your trophy ready for the taxidermist, If you don’t have a preferred Taxidermist then we can help with making those arrangements.
If you are interested in a hunting a Chamois Buck or would like to hunt both the alpine game animals together then we can also arrange this please feel free to contact us and we can put together a hunting package.
