Sika have become the preferred deer species for hunting in New Zealand, with the Sika stag being regarded as a highly sought-after trophy. We are fortunate to offer two properties available for guiding our hunters. The optimum time to hunt for a trophy stag is from mid- March to May.
If you are looking for a trophy stag for the wall or after some tasty venison for the freezer then we can help.
Trips to both properties are overnight hunts only – due to the travel distance, accommodation is included within the prices. Trips start from lunchtime to the following day lunchtime.
Overnight hunting trip includes
- A professional hunting guide for two people
- Transport around the property traveling by 4WD or SXS
- Accommodation in one of the station’s back county huts
- All food and beverages
- Hunting equipment and quality firearms are also supplied
