The Red deer is widespread throughout New Zealand which can be hunted all year round, we have exclusive access to a couple of awesome private properties for guiding our hunters. The premium time to hunt for a trophy stag is mid-March to May. Both of our free-range properties have a good population of red deer and if trophy hunting you will have a good chance of encountering stags like a Royal 12 pointer or a Majestic 14 and sometimes even larger.
If you are looking for a trophy red stag for the wall or are just looking too full your freezer with some gourmet venison, then we can help.
Due to the location of our properties, we can offer this extremely popular hunt – Half Day hunts start from First light until lunchtime. Or after lunch into the evening. There is also Fallow deer available to hunt on this property.
