Overnight Red Deer Meat Hunt in Hawke's Bay, NZ

The Red deer is widespread throughout New Zealand which can be hunted all year round, we have exclusive access to a couple of awesome private properties for guiding our hunters. The premium time to hunt for a trophy stag is mid-March to May. Both of our free-range properties have a good population of red deer and if trophy hunting you will have a good chance of encountering stags like a Royal 12 pointer or a Majestic 14 and sometimes even larger.
If you are looking for a trophy red stag for the wall or are just looking too full your freezer with some gourmet venison, then we can help.
Our second property which is in the southern region of Hawkes Bay has outstanding quarters which have been fully renovated and are a short drive away from the hunting area – They are fully equipped with all the comforts of home. No bedding is required – just bring your hunting gear, we start this hunt at midday which runs through to the following midday (which is a full day 24 hours). This is due to the extra journey from Hawkes Bay. You can also extend the number of days of this hunt if you prefer. The cost is $1000 extra each day.
There is also a good herd of Fallow deer available to hunt on this property which you can also hunt if preferred.

- *Management stag is a stag that is not a trophy due to its antler formation.
We also have a wild game butchery service available to deal with your animal and turn it into portioned size meals for the table at an additional cost.
